Help I just went to get hair highlighted and they messed it up bad?

Okay, the picture I had was blonde with ligt brownish tint of red Highlightes. My hair is now dark brown with red. It is uneven in color. just the top is dark, on one side it is dark on top and blonde down and the other side is all dark.

She tried to fix it by dying it all to a light brown and it looks terrible. It is dark almost like a burgandy. on top and brown in the back but one side is all dark in the front.

This is embarrising. I am probally not making much sense right now but I dont know what I am going to do.

Is there anything I can do?????

1. Get your money back.

2. Get corrective coloring from a different stylist.

Don't be afraid to tell the owners that you are unhappy!! Take a deep breath, pull your hair back so that you don't have to look at it tonight. Relax. It'll all be over soon.

go to a salon that knows what they are doing.. it might be costly, but if it was my hair.. i wouldnt care.. and I would get my money back from the people that messed up your hair.. you can do that if they dont tell them your going to sue... you dont mess with a womans hair, how would she feel if it were her hair?!

hi they only way you can even it out is if you go back and ask for the colours to be bleached out all together which maybe bad for your hair or go to your local shop and buy two dyes the same colour choose a clour you like place the first one which needs to be a permanment colour if that goes ok colour but still patchy even it out by placing the second dye on which should be a semi permenant all over you can do this one after another but i suggest you completly dry your hair in between so you can judge better

hope this helps i know how you feel

get one of those wide cloth headbands and just wear it back. hopefully the headband will cover a lot of it and distract from it. go back to the salon as soon as you can, tell them you need somebody to fix it somehow.

Yes.You can call the place you got your hair done and ask to speak to the manager.Explain your situation and that you're not satisfied with the results at all and that you want it fixed correctly. You should be able to go back free of charge and have it fixed (specify that you want the manager to repair it).Be calm but assertive and you should be able to get the problem resolved.Good luck.

I would bleach out and low light to the right color. cost about 10$ at Sallys with Kalidascope. I dont think I spelled it right tho

I am sorry about your screwed up hairdresser.

If you can afford it, get to a really good colorist. I do not know where in the US you live in. But I know it costs a lot. But if you can do it, that will be a lot less embarrassment. I would put it on a credit card if it were me. Good luck.

You might want to go back to your hairdresser and complain. I would ***** A LOT!

The salon you went to should not only offer to fix your haircolor either with the same stylist or another motre experienced stylist, whichever you prefer. Not only that, you should be offered free conditioning treatments and trims until your hair is back to normal. If they don't offer, ask for it. It's standard procedure. DO NOT try to fix your haircolor at home. Your natural color, the color that's been put on and the new color will all add to what you're trying to do and most likely will make it worse. Go back to the salon. Your color can be fixed by a colorist who knows what he/she is doing. Good luck.
