Is it bad to tan after you have just had your hair highlighted?

Just got partial highlights last night and I am wondering if it will be okay to tan today. Anyone know? Thanks

It will change the color of the highlights. The chemicals from a tanning bed may react to the chemicals in your hair. I would wait a few days. The same goes for swimming in a chlorinated pool.

i wouldnt recommend it b/c your hair color might change i suggest you wait at least a week before going tanning

Sometimes it does cause yellowing from the rays. It really doesn't matter how long it's been since you got it done.
