Do you really mean dark brown, as in almost black? That certainly would be noticeable, but if that's what you want by all means. You could ask for something closer to your own hair color, lighter brown or something also.

Try candy-apple red if you want something noticeable, or let the sun streak it for something a little more natural.

Light colors with dark hair also tend to turn an unattractive orangey color, and if you don't like the color, you're S.O.L until it grows out - they have to bleach the color out of your hair to dye it blonde. It's harsh stuff.

you want a cute interesting look, this is not the way to go. at least, not the color. you wanna stand out, get lime green or hot pink streaks in the very front, if anything. that just screams for attention.

i think that if you get like a natural looking blond die cause my friend went for platinum with her dark hair and it didn't look natural lemon juice and sun works well to get highlights tha look natural try that and good luck

Go with dark red tones.

Blond would be OK if, your hair was a light brown, with blue or hazel eyes.

Dark brown with brown eyes should look great with some dark red tones.
