I cant remember what she said because I was in a hurry to get somewhere. But it was like the toner will wash out and the highlights will get lighter? Does that sound right? I wish the highlights would get lighter! I wanted a more dramatic look!

mm well toner is kinda like a dye to remove the brassy color from the highlights. When i had my highlights done i had dyed my hair black before i went to the salon and some of the highlights came out dark so she used a bleach wash. Im guessing that lightens them up. Well anyways mine came out gorgeous.

Try using anti dandruff shampoo, I found this effective when I hated the colour in my hair, a friend hair dresser told me to do that.
