Oil to make your hair shiny?

I've been to the hair salon about 3 times to get my hair highlighted\touch up. Every time, the hair stylist uses a finishing product at the end, it's some kind of rub on oil, and it's supposed to make your hair shinier or bring out your highlights or something? Could anyone tell me what that is?

My hair dresser uses Kenra Platinum Silkening Gloss. My mom uses that and Vivid Color Reparative Shine. It protects your hair and leaves it shiny. It also smoothes dry ends, helps frizz, and is good to use for hair protection when you straighten or blow-dry it.

I use a little Olive Oil.. works great!! don't use it on your roots, just on the ends. I use xtra virgin olive oil. Jojoba oil works good too! Your salon may use Biosilk though..

Kenra makes a great serum to bring out your highlights!

Use a mild hand cream like Jergens. A tenth of the cost and the same result

It's hot oil. You can but it in drugstores. All you do is heat it up, rub it on and viola! Gorgeous hair!

olive oil or coconut oil works wonders

you massage it into you hair, especially the ends, before you go to bed (maybe put like a towel on your pillow) and then just wash it out in the morning and it makes it shinier and healthier!

Most of the oil products that salons use have mineral oil in them, if you bought it straight as mineral oil, just use a little.

Whenever I want my hair to look shiny I spray Garnier Fructis Shine Glossing spray. It works well, doesn't weigh my hair down, and smells good too!

Many salons use different products. However, I recommend you using Baby Oil! Yes, lol, it does make hair shiny, in fact. Baby Oil has no real benefits for your hair. Try coconut or olive oil-they are both the best for hair. I recommend coconut because it promotes shiny fuller hair and also helps in hair growth. It prevents split ends too.

im not sure what exactly she used....my hair dresser used a solid oil before she flat ironed it then she sprayed it with oil sheen and told me to do that everyday or two....natural look intensive hair sheen works pretty good and so does tcb oil sheen and conditioning spray.
