OMG!!! OMG!!! OMG!!! ok i want to dye my hair honeyblond today
im african American and my hair is like a really dark brown almost black and i want this color in my head tonight....thing is the color is PERMANENT so once i do this there is no going back....so how should i get it colored : all the way through my hair, highlights, like 2 inches away from the scalp.....pics would be great

Don't do it. I colored my hair strawberry blonde 3 years ago and all of my hair fell out. I have big long curls like Troy Palomalu and it took 3 years to get it back healthy. I have natural hair(never permed) and I don't know why some people can take the dyes and others can't. Buy a wig, if you want to color your hair, at least you can switch up if you want to go back to your natural look. I think African American women look pretty with Honey Blonde, no matter what their complexion is. Good Luck, I guess the new year is coming and you want a new look.(smile)

NO... don't do it. i hate to say it but noramly (not all the time) if you r african american it looks sort of scary. i would ask a hair specialist what would be the right color. hope it helps. %26lt;3

It won't work.....dark brown to blonde is just too much of a change. Try a lighter brown and some highlights. And maybe a cool cut.

Okay, if you want to go that light, you are going to have to bleach it!!! I have black hair and the only way for me to get any color blonde is bleaching the dying it the color you want. Believe me, it sux to do, and from first hand experience it can damage your hair, but thats bout the only way to do it. Hope I helped.
